Step by step instructions, how to use ExpressZip when unzipping your files from DLL-files.com.

If you don't have ExpressZip, you may purchase (only $19.95) a downloadable version - ready to use directly after purchase!
You may also use this guide, even if you're not using ExpressZIP. But the zip-program you are using, may not function they same way as ExpressZip.

  • Start ExpressZip from your startmenu
  • 1 - Click on "Open" and browse to the zip-file on your computer
  • 2 - Select the dll-file in the list
  • 3 - Click on "Extract"
Unzip instructions
  • 4 - In the new window that opens up, choose "Selected files/folders"
  • 5 - Choose "Overwrite existing files/folders (make sure you backup any file before overwriting it!)
  • 6 - Browse to the location on your computer, where you would like to extract the file. We recommend you to unzip the file to the directory of the program that is requesting the file. If that doesn't work, you will have to extract the file to your system directory. By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).
  • Reboot your computer
  • If the problem still occurs, try the following:
    • 1. Press Start and select Run
    • 2. Type CMD and press Enter
    • 3. Type regsvr32 "filename".dll and press Enter
  • If you still have problems after these instructions, we recommend you to get help by our Live Support

How to add background music to your orkut scrapbook

Below is a simple trick to greet your Orkut scrapbook visitors with a background music of your choice.

To do this you need file (basically the song) in swf format. Convert mp3 songs to swf format.

STEP 1 - convert your music file to swf format
Download the software "Total Video Converter" to achieve this. Convert any music of your choice to swf format. Make sure that you choose a small clip.

Longer the clip, longer the wait time for your visitors to listen to your music.
Download Total Video Converter

STEP 2 - Upload the converted file to online storage space
Once the swf file is ready, upload the file to a free storage space. Sign up to any of the free stogare space service and upload your swf file to a folder which is accessible by everyone.
One of the options available would be Geocities pages : http://geocities.yahoo.com/

You will get the link to this file once the upload is complete. Something similar to the one given below
"http://www.geocities.com/whoz_behind_me/onestopcool.blogspot.com.swf"

Final Step - STEP 3 - Post scrap with music

Login to your orkut account and go to your friends “Scrapbook” Page
Copy the below code and paste it in your friends scrapbook box (basically adding a new scrap) Replace the code in RED to your music file. This ensures that you scrap music of your choice.
